I'm going to have a birthday party. I have the Diabetes 1 type. I need some easy and diabetes friendly recipes to please myself and guests.

Best thing I can tell you is Green Beans. You can have all you want, and then some, but I'm the first to admit it just doesn't sound very festive. Are you doing dinner, or just snacking around? Most nuts aren't too bad. Chips, whether potato or corn are darn near lethal. Shrimp coctails and stuffed mushrooms come to mind, depending on what you stuff them with.

Not much help, but maybe someone else will drop in.

We have a population of cooks and self taught and/or fully certified nutritionists and (most likely diabetics as well) who can answer this question for you. So a little patience please. Very Happy

Here, also do a search under diabetes. You might want to look at vegan recipes, too, but keep an eye on the glycemic index.
