@bmcreider,
Thanks for that, I would have liked a bit more of the philosophy to balance the picture, in the same way that Stephen Fry has done with music in his recent documentary on Wagner (see BBC iplayer).

It is interesting that the personal life of another "great thinker", J Krishnamurti, was less than "wholesome".

I agree. But they knew more people would be interested in Nazi rulers than philosophy.
