I'm looking for a reference to a motivational story where...

I heard this story and am trying to find a reference to it.

It's about how some very successful guy was speaking in front of an audience of military veterans and for some reason the audience was complaining because life was hard because they had gone through war and lost limbs and that he had had an easier life. The speaker, tired of their complaints, takes off his prosthetic arm (no one knew he had one) and starts telling them off. Then he takes off his prosthetic leg and starts crawling off the stage until he's completely limbless and the ushers drag him away.

Has anyone else heard that story?
