Wow Bird. And a great line up. Although I think Miles was a little overrated at this point. He always seemed to me to be trying to overplay. Duke Jordan is my fave. A very underappreciated Pianist. Check out his composition: Jordu . You probably know it. I use it to practice my solo work
Right now I'm listening to Incubus - Southern Girl
1 of their best tracks to date.

Wow, you are a pianist.
I know Clifford Brown played Jordu in his record. It is a very exciting tune.
thirteen tales from urban bohenia by the Dandy Warhols
Dandy Warhols...excellent
Clapton...have you heard his latest? Ugh!
Pick up a copy of Robert Johnson King Of The Delta Blues and compare...or John Mayalls Bluesbreakers for some good Clapton
TIPSY by J-Kwon
A seductive dance tune from the Kansas City School which is rapidly taking over the Top-40 charts.
Shel Silverstein. He ain't gonna let no thumbsucker suck his thumb. One thumbsucker, she told him he ahd the sweetest thumb at all, then she sucked the thumb of the guy that lives down the hall.
Hey Dawg!
Is it true that Shel wrote"On The Cover Of The Rolling Stone"?
Sounds about right. It isn't on the album, though "Everybody's Making it Big But Me." ("Dr. Johns got two fine chicks, Elton John's got three / But I'm still seeing those same old skeezos that I used to see")
Air America- who is it, what is it?
Thanks, it looks great. Unfortunately I've banned Real Player from my house. Little bugger messed up my confuser.
I have a feeling it was probably Microsoft and not RealPlayer. Kinda what happens though, gotta get rid of something because of Microsoft's monopoly
Eric Clapton & The Yardbirds --- The Beginning CD
Actually, it's Real Player. They're like a street urchin tugging at my pants leg looking for a little change. Last time I downloaded it they wanted $19.99 for me to use it. Who needs it?
Although I didn't know it was Eric playing lead on "Having a rave up with the Yardbirds", the album got wore out in our garage band clubhouse...hmmm..circa 1966.
My local UK independant music shop has some great re-issue compilations of 60s r&R and some great blues comps of people like hooker, muddy waters & so on. If you want labels & trk listings, I'll PM them to you
you might be able to get 'em in the states or thru amazon.co.uk
