Loads of Marshall Tucker Band...They are like a 2nd tier Skynard, and Skynard is hugely forgotten in music, so let us ALL reinvest in Skynard and Marshall Tucker.

Having played "Sweet Home Alabama" for the millionth time with my band tonight I wouldn't care if I ever heard another Skynyrd song or heard someone yell out FREE BIRD.
Marshall Tucker and Charlie Daniels are right up there...in Southern Rock
Don't mess with Skynyrd...they were gods to me when I was learning guitar. I could stand never hearing Alabama or Freebird again too tho.
Listening to the Two Dollar Pistols "Hands Up" right now...kickass.
I just put on "A Golden Hour of Maria Callas in Concert." I swear that woman wasn't human. No mortal could make a voice do the things she does.
I visited Club Passim in HArvard Square this afternoon for a concert by Sarah Borges, a local talent. The music was bluesy-rock-a-billy. Her voice was awsome, the musical talent was great! The stage presence was casual and humorous - my kind of band. I bought a CD and have listened through more than once this evening. Good stuff.
Kudos k, for supporting live music and the local talent.
listening to the voice of my conscience: "get off of a2k, ya hear me? HEEELLLOOOOO!!! Your conscience speaking. I think you have a presentation in 3 day?! Get yer arse in gear, missy!!!"
Pan - That's my thing. Well, it is when I can drag myself out of my house.... that gets harder and harder to do.
Listening to a remarkable album just put out by Joe Pesci. He's singing torch songs under the name Joe Doggs.. His phrasing is excellent and the band is top notch...especially Joey DeFrancesco...gotta be the finest B-3 player alive today, and the cat is only 35 years old.
The album is called "Falling In Love Again"
Actually, maybe not so to me. He's got soul. Interesting, maybe I'll try to find a CD.
