Tahiti 80's Heartbeat, again - I'm really just kinda marvelling about that song, kinda in wonder about it - it's *so* painfully sweet - so totally an in-love song ...
(I know nothing about this band ... except that they did an equally dreamy cover of "A love from outer space" (which in its original AR Kane version already was quite sweet))
And now to Hiem's She's the one ... one cool retro/electro track ... like, it could have been the best club track of 1981 ... <impressed>
underpass by john foxx.
you'll love this nimh. remember i told ya last night that my one neice in alaska was only into esoteric acoustic music ??
when my wife got home she told me that my neice had asked for a kraftwerk album for christmas, because she'd just heard it for the first time and thought it was "tres cool". kismet or what ??
by the way, she's closer to your age, brilliant and cute. and i really, really can't stand her boyfriend ! help me out here will ya ????
LOL! If she's up in Alaska, no effin' way, no matter how cute or brilliant!

cool. i'm putting an "early electronic bands sampler" for her.
i had the great pleasure of seeing ultravox with john foxx (the pre midge line up) at the whiskey in 1978. really cutting edge stuff back then. and they were terrific.
probably ought to put "slow motion" on it, no?
You putting any Fad Gadget on there? Talk about cutting edge, back then ...
Fad Gadget in April, 1980 ... one for the Pants thread ... ;-)

oh man. another one that i forgot about. limewire, here i come. it's too bad there were some real doozies here in l.a. from about '77 on. one bunch that was pretty good was the wierdos. featuring the unique vocal stylings of tomata du plenty.
they rehearsed in the same building as the rock band i was in. i used to check them out, got to know them. good guys.
unlike the dinos i was playing with; " $hit dude, whaddaya talkin' to those freaks for ???"
ssssnnnorrrzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
