I just listened to a little bit of Iron Maiden. It's been years. See what happens when Boomer does one of her scavenger hunts!?!

I'm listening to the Velvet Underground and, DontTreadOnMe, the song at the moment is Heroin!

Love a good musical coincidence.

I was listening to that very CD today at work, hingehead. I feel so subversive when I play Herion at work. After that it was Piss Factory from the inimitable Patti Smith.

Me very first pistol was a cap and ball Colt
Shoots as fast as lightnin' but it loads a mite slow
It loads a mite slow, and soon I found out
It'll get you into trouble but it can't get you out

So then I went and bought myself a Colt 45
Called a peacemaker but I never knew why
I never knew why, I didn't understand
Mama says the pistol is the devil's right hand

The devil's right hand, the devil's right hand
Mama says the pistol is the devil's right hand

hahahaha!!! i used to get such a kick out of blasting "bodies" by the pistols or zombie or somethin' in my old office when i was feeling a little stressed out.

being the general manager, i promptly yelled at myself and put a note in my permanent record.

My favourite spin people out at work track is The Blenders 'Don't F*ck Around With Love' which has to be heard to be really appreciated. It's 50s doo-wop with a very catchy chorus - played straight - http://www.geocities.com/theblenders1953/blenders.mp3

It was beautiful, annifa. Don't listen to the naysayers.

I haven't listened to any music all day. No wonder I'm grumpy tonight. Nothing but blah, blah, blah...all the live long day.

Sidney Bechet, which is a real departure for me, because I generally have no ear for jazz. It's hard not to like his stuff, though, it's infectious!
