He's dead
He's safely dead
No more bummed out feelings
For his body and his head
I would not mind
If he'd took his time
And stayed around instead.

Some opt to paint it black
He only sought the sun
His mind went off to the east
his body couldn't come
The love he'd find
He made the time
And gave us some

He taught us how to gain the world
And save our mind
With all that fame
And yet remained
So quiet and kind
What if he'd changed his mind
But I know he won't be back this time
