Actually there is an explanation for the evolution of the eye, there is a good documentary about it on the science channel. Perhaps you should watch it.

The eye isn't perfect either.

If it was it wouldn't have blind spots nor deteriate so that glasses are needed.

Even a perfect pair of eyes --perfect at birth-- will eventualy deteriorate beceause everything eventually deteriorates. Entropy, right?

But the idea of the human eye is still genius. Irreducible genius, if you ask me.
