One thing I never got...

I never understood how my political opposites (the Right) can be so adamantly against the Fairness Doctrine (both sides get equal time) when it comes to political views, but be FOR the idea of "Teach the Controversy" (both sides get equal time) when it comes to creationism/ID.

Pick one. Do you want equal time for conflicting views or not? You can't have it both ways.

It's one thing that I never figured out.

@Sabz5150,
I fully comprehend the Wedge, but it's interesting to see them whine and cry to be heard without pursuing the proper avenues when it's their views which are not presented, however when their views are the ones being presented, they steadfastly push against any attempts to have the opposite side heard.

Hypocrisy in action I suppose.

Can you give a rational reason why the Right would totally stonewall at the words "Fairness Doctrine" (even though nobody's brought up the FD), but rally behind and actively push for the exact same thing when it comes to their religion in schools?

Equal time, right? Teach both sides, right? Critical thinking, right?

So the whole "fairness doctrine" thing... is cool? But only when it advocates your ideals? That's the signal that I'm getting.
