I didn't go far enough. My post was in reference to the statement that you can't use the Bible to explain the Bible or explain God.
If you ask someone to explain a rock pile and tell the person you asked they can't show you a rock or a pile of rocks, you aren't going to get much of an explanation. Maybe that is the point of that type of demand.
