Of course you can but I don't have to prove myself to you. By the way, speaking of Alberto Rivera, the Catholic Church sent him to destroy protestant groups. Is this the true religion, sending someone to destroy something?

LOL, Alberto Rivera's a fraud, that's why I said that. Here's a link:

Alberto Rivera - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Besides that, is it the true religion to say 'I hate the Catholic Church?'

And does that mean you don't think that the Church worships Mary and the saints?

Wouldn't you despise or hate someone or something that makes a fool out of you for a very long time?

Alberto Rivera's a fraud, that's why I said that.
Alberto Rivera, fraud or not, its their scandal, therefore its their problem.

And does that mean you don't think that the Church worships Mary and the saints?
That's the contradiction. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. I asked my superior about that and just said 'Don't test the practice that built the pillars of this church'.

@Reagaknight,
Imu, just what exactly is your beef with the Catholic Church. So far, your complaints don't add up to hill of beans. What's the beef!?! How the heck did the Church hurt you, personally, for you to be so deliriously angry?????? You're starting to really aggravate me with your hallucinations.

Who's your superior? Why are you fighting with other Christians, especially in a public forum? Doesn't this cause non-believers to distrust us all since we appear not to agree with each other about the foundation of our belief when in reality we disagree about details and judge other believers?

Aren't we told not to do these things?

2 Timothy 2:14-26, ?Remind them of these things, charging them before God not to fight about words; this is in no way profitable and leads to the ruin of the hearers. Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who doesn't need to be ashamed, correctly teaching the word of truth. But avoid irreverent, empty speech, for this will produce an even greater measure of godlessness. And their word will spread like gangrene, among whom are Hymenaeus and Philetus. They have deviated from the truth, saying that the resurrection has already taken place, and are overturning the faith of some. Nevertheless, God's solid foundation stands firm, having this inscription:

The Lord knows those who are His, and

Everyone who names the name of the Lord

must turn away from unrighteousness.

Now in a large house there are not only gold and silver bowls, but also those of wood and earthenware, some for special use, some for ordinary. So if anyone purifies himself from these things, he will be a special instrument, set apart, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.

Flee from youthful passions, and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. But reject foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they breed quarrels. The Lord's slave must not quarrel, but must be gentle to everyone, able to teach, and patient, instructing his opponents with gentleness. Perhaps God will grant them repentance to know the truth. Then they may come to their senses and escape the Devil's trap, having been captured by him to do his will.?

I read God's Word, daily. I examine my life and behavior in relation to His Word. His Word is my Guide and measure. God's Word reveals His Mind and His wishes for our lives.

There are at least three entities on this forum that have a vociferous hatred of God and His Word. Most do not.

Your words, quoted above, could easily be an effective mirror, if you chose to look.

You believe, and have stated, there is no god greater than you. Beg to differ. Unless you are a supernatural entity participating in this forum through the cosmic ether, one well placed 5.56mm or 7.62mm round would test and destroy that theory.

Your god took three stakes and a spear.
And dont give me the resurection horse ****, there are other documentations of Jesus Of Nazerith being crucified, only your bible documents a resurection.

You make a fool out of yourself, you need no help. You say "I am a true Christian" and yet you are glad to fill yourself with hate and refuse to forgive perceived wrongs which are probably not even true.

How can it be their scandal when it does not exist? Rivera did nothing he claimed he did (obviously), and the fact that you recognize his name tells me you have read a few Chick tracts in your life.

Of course they don't. Any Catholic who worships Mary and/or the saints is not a true Catholic. Your superior was poorly informed to give you such an answer that will lead you to stray from the Church, believing false things.

There are other documents of the resurrection also. Anyone with a pen, a hand attached to an arm, and a brain can write. Anyone with a computer two fingers and a keyboard can write.

That is why the Bible was not written by a single author or a group of authors in one place or time.

The Name is Christ Jesus, Son of God. He was born in Bethlehem in Judea. His adoptive father was from Nazareth.

Where is Nazerith?

@imuthis,
Your right Jesus of Nazareth was never a name given to this guy. I am making it up, LOL (watch Vol will call me a liar later in this thread and quote this line as proof I am a liar LMAO, okay well he won't now that I have pointed it out)

Nazareth is south of what is now known as Kuwait, YES boys and girls JESUS was an Iraqi.

Finally only His disciples write of a resurrection. IF myself and 10 of my closest friends write that we saw Jesus in the water treatment plant down the road, would that make us right? of course not.

This 500 Brethren took me almost 30 seconds to laugh at, why because in Corinthians the EXACT passage is

1 Corinthians 15:6 (21st Century King James Version)
21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
Copyright ? 1994 by Deuel Enterprises, Inc.

6and that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some have fallen asleep.

But some have fallen asleep, this means that even of the 500 people who allegedly saw the resurrected Christ prior to his ascension to heaven, do not believe they actually saw it.

more than 500 people in the past 50 years have claimed to see the Loch Ness Monster.

First of all I'm not asking for anyones' help here, and I didn't said something like "I am a true Christian", did I?

Thats what I'm talking about. You didn't get it, if Alberto Rivera existed then this offensive article about the Catholic Church surely existed too. Notice your source (Wikipedia); There, tells something about Rivera's account about Catholicism, therefore the fact that it is posted as an article of Wikipedia, indeed, it exist (You even read it already). And did that article told something good about Catholic Church, No. Thus, its scandalous for the Catholic Church. As you said, "Rivera did nothing he claimed he did (obviously)", but he already did and it's there the only question is if its true or not, either way, its their problem.

Yeah your right. He is poorly informed. He is very loyal to Vatican I which the present pope is trying to remove to create a unified college of cardinals. By the way, Yes you can tell me that i believing false things because you think that you know what is false from what is true, i understand.

Fallen asleep in this context means to have died. The Christian view is we don't die, we have everlasting life. The resurrection is the wake-up call.

IMO, and that's all, Imuthis is deeply troubled on the subject of Christianity. There's no reasoning with him. I hereby cut him loose to do his own, rather strange thing, in the enormous realm of spirituality. Have fun, Imu. Stay out of trouble, Airborne. Hooaaahhh.:headbang:

Why people tend to accuse other people for the actions that they didn't do? First of all i didn't said 'I am deliriously angry' i said 'I despise'. Here's the distinction of the two

angry - having a strong feeling against someone who has behaved badly, making you want to shout at them or hurt them.

despise - to feel a strong dislike for someone or something because you think they are bad or worthless.

(Reference: Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary)

See the difference?
