How many English pounds equals one dollar? How many euros equal a dollar?
Also, would an associate's degree in nursing from an American college be recognized in G.B.?
Any local competently organized newspaper should give you a current exchange rate for dollars to pounds and dollars to euros. The exchange rate varies from day to day, so any answer anyone here gives you will no longer be correct 24 hours later. As for the nursing degree, i would suggest that you use a search engine with an entry of "nursing qualifications in Great Britain" and work from there.
Good luck.
Try contacting the Royal College of Nursing:

Today's rates of exchange, per:
http://mwprices.ft.com/custom/ft-com/currency.asp
1 US$ = 0.59 GB£
1.70 US$ = 1 GB£
The dollar's been suffering against the pound and the euro, recently!
Pounds, 1.7-1
Euros, 1.2-1
Degree- maybe
:-)
Can someone just tell me what 3.50 in pounds is when converted to U.S. dollars? I want to know how much the tickets cost to go to the Edinburgh Book Festival. (Big fan of J.K. Rowling, I prefer saying Jo). Just please answer me.
Welcome to A2K, Mandi!
Didn't those links above work on your computer? :wink:
3.50 UK Sterling = 6.56 US Dollar
@Mandi,
3.5 pounds is about 5 dollars in the united states.
