Not really. The storm went inland far south of here and wasn't a big one anyway. Plus I've been asleep all day, up now and headed to work in a light rain.

Curmie, I don't know about you, BUT I AM SICK OF RAIN. Did someone move us to the tropics during wet season without telling us? I wonder. This is supposed to be TEXAS. :frown:

El Paso sounds like a small piece of Paradise to me -- desert, which I love, Texas, which I love, and the border, which I love. Yeah....I love San Antonio, but I miss the desert. This rainy season stuff isn't me. No way. I left my ancestral lands farther north because I hate snow. Rain is becoming my 'new snow'.:no: :frown: Very Happy

Surprised
I love rain!
Although I'm sure after a while I'd probably get tired of it too.
Last year around late July/early August El Paso Decided to flood for a week or so. WITHOUT ME. I was in Colorado Springs melting.

Sad I've never forgiven it.

I spent much of my youth freezing my tail off in Colorado Springs, and elsewhere. The coldest I've ever been was in the Mojave in the winter, with that ferocious wind you can't escape if you're a dogface in training, and Fort Benning, GA, in the winter rain, at night. Rain never bothered me that much, but lately, I can't stand it. :no:

PS: You gonna freeze in Chicago, Dixie.

That's awfully kind of you politically wrong, but you stand a better chance of seeing "The Second Coming of Jesus" than getting this lass to step on Islamic soil. I'd rather spend my last few minutes on this earth pain free not in a hole up to my neck with rocks being pelted at me.Thanks for the invite thou.

Rain, Jesus H you know who. It has been pouring for two days, we've had at least three inches and it shows no sign of slowing down. Damn weather forcasters have their heads up a comet or something. It's bad enough they get the weather prediction wrong but why can't they ammend it when they read the weather ergo forcast why can't they admit they predicted incorrectly?

@Brent cv,
Hey, there's nothing a snowmobile, a 4X4 truck, a pair of ski's, and a cup of hot cocoa can't fix when it comes to snow!!!

I love having the four season's.

Traveling to tropical climates is my favorite but I don't think that I could live there year around.

well you sure got that right, the weather is always extreme here (no extremism of weather has nothing to do with Islam looolz) i mean it, when its not really hot that you feel the streets are starting to melt down , it suddenly becomes winter (just yesterday was summer) and its freezing , rarely we have a couple of hours of rain but thats it(and thats supposed to be automn) ofcourse there is nothing that has even the slightest resemblance to spring.

i wish i can be there when jesus comes back , no one can possibly object when jesus finally say's to all that he isnot God or the son of God or a part of the holyspirit Very Happy , loooolz not even the best on this website can refute such a strong evidence , and we dont stone anyone unless :

1- he/she is a muslim.
2- is married.
3- commits adultery.
4- gets eyewitnessed by four( red handed no pun intended Very Happy ).

@Brent cv,
LOL Socal are you a lefty also? I noticed when I did some contract work with a large property management company that a large portion of males are left handed. Very few females thou.

LOL PC don't send some Princess after me, I have my own Tiara I like to think I'm Queen of the Hood. However if she did hunt me down please explain that I've had three years of intense training in a unique martial arts program. It's called Phillippine Street fighting, a blend of martial arts and Mossad training. I know how to use a tooth brush to kill. Just letting you know, but then again I've heard the same thing about my cooking.

Brian, you just have good taste in women.
