student visa status ;

i have applied fora student visa on 4 th may , and today its 28 th june , so far i have not recieved pre visa / visa ., and am not informed about the status of my application . my classes are starting from 15 july...... no body in hte embassy is able top give me the correct status of myapplication . if i call them , they say its still under process. can any one help me to find the status of application
