And I learned some geography because, I am ashamed to say, I didn't know where the horn of Africa was.

In 10 million years will we have a North and South set of Africas or East and West set of Africa brotherly continents?

I wish there was a way to see 10 million years down the line to see what this new ocean will look like and also know what it will be called if anyone is around to name it in the first place.

It's really more of a Birth of a Giant Crack (which will eventually become large enough to hold an Ocean's worth of water)

that's quite an interesting though, in 10 million who will be here? Somebody no doubt, but our civilization will have disappeared long before then. Somebody needs to bury some really cool object there, maybe a polaroid of the entire continent of africa as seen from space!
