The clean energy revolution is happening around the world and in our own backyards.

How are you taking #ClimateAction? Share it with us in the comments!

And watch this great video from The Sierra Club for more inspiration: http://youtu.be/zbW0qxTTfGc
https://scontent-b-lga.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/t31.0-8/10014124_10152334775479684_1870070942_o.jpg

We need to pursue clean energy FOREMOST and ONLY use other forms of energy to pick up the slack 'til clean forms can be found to replace all unclean and non renewable sources.

Two people voted down the Sierra Club's clean energy video on YouTube...

Republicans... VOTE 'EM OUT 2014!

FRACCIDENTS: America is in the midst of an unprecedented oil and gas drilling rush—brought on by fracking. But that boom also comes with troubling reports of poisoned drinking water, polluted air, mysterious animal deaths, industrial disasters and explosions (aka "fraccidents"). Check out the map>> http://ow.ly/uLHrw

How much will consumers be paying in the future to clean up these fraccidents? How cheap and clean is natural gas again?

@RexRed,
When did the consumers now ever care about the future Rex?

If fracking is not done there are two choices. One is to not do the things this home produced energy allows, encourages or even demands to be done, or to buy energy on world markets to replace it.

Can you suggest another option?

How can uninformed and deceived consumers care about the right things?

I can suggest an option

Okay, and I know this is a novel idea (not) but, we could stop giving billions in subsidies to dirty energy, shut off the big oil lobbyists and invest HEAVILY in clean energy... But why do that 'cuz it might solve American's energy problems for may years to come and actually save consumers down the road (cynical)? Once the dirty energy companies have absconded with the record profits and left their mess for consumers/tax payers to deal with FOR CENTURIES, what other recourse will we have but to pay out AGAIN to restore our earth back to wholeness?

There is NOTHING CHEAP about dirty energy. Relying on dirty energy is like using a chainsaw to perform heart surgery.

We are better off importing the extra needed energy than marring the land irreparably... Many alternative clean energy sources have not even been tried due to dirty energy lobbyists and crooked GOP politicians.

Like hemp for fuel?

Hemp Energy: Sounds like a joke, but it’s not!
http://auto.howstuffworks.com/fuel-efficiency/biofuels/hemp-energy.htm

Clean energy, still in its infancy due to our crooked GOP politicians, dirty energy and their unscrupulous blood money.

Clean energy was the way to go many years ago but we were told "by dirty energy" it was not feasible and could never supply our needs.

THIS was a LIE!

Check out the Aberfan disaster for the essence of the subject.

Your option is naive. It won't play in the practical world of politics and economics. It is not as simple as Willie Nelson made it sound.

@RexRed,
Nobody is saying that there is no downside Rex. There is no alternative.

Even James Lovelock admits that.

Dylan said that "The ghosts of 'lecrticity howl in the bones of her face."

Way ahead of any scientists.

@RexRed,
What's so special about moose Rex?

Thousands of creatures were mangled just building your residence.

The number is unquantifiable in respect of the logistics of providing your musical equipment at a price you can afford.

Those are facts. You're big on facts I gather. Science doesn't rest when it has found that the earth is round.
