@failures art,
Aha..an anaphilatelist.

What's the best stamp you haven't collected so far?

@failures art,
anaphilatelistic shock

when the ex-presidents stamp series was more popular than expected

due to people spitting on both sides

To those interested, it's going quite well. I've already not collected very many. I'm new to the hobby. I keep meaning to go through my mail and get rid of any stamps I find.

dlowan - My favorite stamp I have not collected has to be food stamps. Thanks for asking.

I think it's great that I'll receive support here on A2K. Some people I've told have been less than supportive. They say that not collecting stamps isn't a hobby.

I just want my hobby to be respected just like other hobbies.

Some people collect stamps, and that's their hobby. I respect that.

@failures art,
Stick with it.

I'm reminded of the time my mother threw out my collection of non-verbal nouns because she couldn't find an acronym for them.

Undaunted by this poignant turn of events I high-tailed it to numismatics before heading inexorably to collecting currency notes of large denomination.

My big notology collection would likely rival even the keenest A2K collector.

We have the same hobby. What a coincidence. I'm probably not as actively involved as you, but still, not collecting is not collecting.

@failures art,
CONGRATULATIONS!

I remember that as a child there was a lot of peer pressure to not collect comic books, but I persevered and didn't collect stamps instead. Now I'm proud to be able to show-off my uncollected stamps! Welcome to a proud tradition!

@failures art,
We respect you honey.

And it's not even morning here yet...it's only early evening.

But I'll still respect you in the morning.

The usual policy is that we wait until morning. You're a brave bunny.

Also... Bald is now a hair color.

In what way is it that a hobby is something that one does not do?

@thack45,
Why not? I mean bald is a hair color and Atheism is a religion, right?

I sympathise with you.

I don't shoot people as a hobby. You'd be surprised how lacking in appreciation of this some people are - when I tell them I didn't shoot them. Confused

@margo,
I tried that this morning on my way to work. I got stuck in traffic and lost my concentration. I guess it will take practice.

It's not like I think I'll go pro. Not shooting people is just a hobby for long weekends. I was much better at it when I was a kid.
