I'm interested in adding audio to a website in the MP3 of SWF format. I've seen programs offered on the web to do this, but it seems like I should just be able to do it manually.
I like the idea of using the SWF format, so that it uses flash. However, I do not own the Macromedia Flash creation software. Do you any tools and docs that I can get on converting a MP3 audio clip into a SWF clip, and then steps on coding for the site...?
I'd like the audio (flash) to have a graphic to click for play.
Thanks.

Try
Soundnails (30 day free trial) or SwiffPEG.
You might also check with your hosting provider - so see if they carry an add-on.
You can send the mp3 to me and I can make it flashy for you. With some sweet talking I can give you the code to get it to play too.
