'Notes'
Last night I thought about those notes,
you know (well, you don't really)
notes for you that I keep writing,
notes you've never seen.
It made me think of birds --I mean
those birds that sing their mating songs--
do they keep singing? ... even
though the thing went wrong?
Does a bird keep doing, doing,
even knowing he won't do?
does he just continue singing,
does he stop, and fly away,
or does he have another way to muddle through?
In an empty place, his notes are ringing,
far from her his lonely call,
softly, slowly, sadly, singing,
perhaps he's been there all along.

Someone needs a hug. Not a manly hug from me; a hug, nevertheless.
C'mere, jjorge.....((((((((((HUG))))))))))
Good to have you back!
Hi Edgar! Hi Eva!
Despite the mood of the poem I'm doing ok really.
I wrote most of it during a walk in the woods back in July. That's when I was writing all my JD poems and dealing with the realization that my crush on her was unrequited.

As I said on another thread, my 'Dean duties' and
hunting for a new house have consumed most of my time lately.
It's hard to stay away from A2K though....
....... such a nice group of people!
Greetings from a Dean people.
Greetings Edgar. I'm one too.
