What is the imagination?

What limits the imagination?

What frees the imagination?

Should we control the imagination?

Can we control the imagination?

Is the imagination limitless?

Is the imagination pointless?

Does imagination limit us?

Are we limited by imagination?

Is imagination our or your? (i get it from you, you get it from me?)

Does imagination free or shackle us?
Lift us up or weigh us down?
Condemn or Salutate?

(one or any)

No far from it, it's creation and part of us.

Free us although we are shackled to it in that it belongs.

The same can be said about turmoil and despair and everything between.

What frees the imagination? Curiosity can lead to possibilities and it is that which ignites new imaginations based upon your perception of reality.

@sometime sun,
Imagination is the mind's ability to mimic the senses. It plays a large roll in the understanding of language, since words stimulate the imagination. If I say "green elephant" to you your imagination (probably) generates a visual image of a green elephant. If I say "coffee" you may not only see but also smell and taste coffee. When we think, our thoughts fill the imagination both as spoken words and as the secondary images those words may generate. I'm not sure that reason or logic would be possible without the imaginations ability to "think" in words and images. The imagination can duplicate any of the body's senses. And not only does the thought process play out in the imagination, but also it replays our memories and plays our dreams and expectations (fears or hopes). The imagination is a central and essential element of mind. Without it ideation and conceptualization would not be possible.

@sometime sun,
What is the imagination? Strong thoughts, which are not bound to what is real, but may be drawn from reality.

What limits the imagination? Reality, moral, ethics, other humans, lack of knowledge, lack of IQ ..etc, obsession.

What frees the imagination? Insanity/psycosis, speeches, books, art, nature ..anything!

Should we control the imagination? If it's harmless ..no, if it's damaging ..yes!

Can we control the imagination? Sane people can, not so sane people can't. Sometimes you can be sane, but can't.

Is the imagination limitless? Surely depends on the persons mental capacity.

Is the imagination pointless? Where would be be without our iron horses and iron birds? We have advanced medical care, computers ..etc, all from imaginative people.

Does imagination limit us? Depends, only if it's an obsessive disorder, it can be limiting.

Are we limited by imagination? Rather we'r limited by unimaginative people.

Is imagination our or your? (i get it from you, you get it from me?) We can inspire eachother, that's why we usually seek inspiration from eachother's findings. We can't invent everything by ourselfs.

Does imagination free or shackle us? Again it depends if it's a psycosis or just normal thinking.
Lift us up or weigh us down? Again it depends if it's a psycosis or just normal thinking.
Condemn or Salutate? Depends on the IQ/RQ of the persons involved.
