'Cleanliness is close to godliness'

Does this then make it 'evil' to be unclean, dirty, unsanitary?

It kills and breeds disease,
it is only 'evil' when if it can should be avoided

Clean good
Dirty bad

(why 'unclean' not just 'dirty'? one is a state away from something the other just is)

@Theaetetus,
Cleanliness also connotes organization. Chaos has long been ideologically equated with evil.

@sometime sun,
Chaos itself? no I don't, however, it has traditionally been a metaphorical evil.

OoooOooOooooohhh!!! Then have some dirty surgeon to operate you, and let's see how well you'll heal afterwards. ...no? ..bad?

Cleanliness (sterile) is to be desired in certain aspects.
