Belief in something does not necessitate it is knowledge, it is just required for knowledge. The belief has to be true for it to be considered knowledge. So, I suppose someone could dream of a piece of knowledge, but I would hazard to say that the person already knew of that piece of knowledge prior to dreaming.

I did say that, unless I have forgotten the workings of language =)

As for knowing it prior to dreaming, I agree thats likely, but we are being philosophic here, not pratic =)

People, animals, plants, rocks, terrain features, the weather, the sun, the gods, the interdimensional beings in my mind (hate those), the cosmic forces that rule the universe, several parts of my body, etc.
