hmmm, most things are!

Eastern Europe (where east means east of a longitude line through Vienna, and includes Czech Rep and Poland...)
I had the same trouble in Queenstown although it wasn't NY and ended up in a Very Expensive motel in some nonvillage place all golfcourse and retirees.
Well - it's not in eastern Europe, by that definition.
Oz Day was good, although, as a tennis fan, it was a disaster! All Australians knocked out of the Australian Open!
Thank goodness for the cricket - where we did eke a win (over Zimbabwe!)
Switzerland, but where???
Chur, Switzerland on the Rhine River?
Ooooo! In my search of rivers, I came across a personal web site with photos and such regarding Lyon (I know it isn't in Switzerland, but the river I was looking at runs into both Switzerland and France) and I would love to go there!
Anyone with space in their suitcase, let me know. (Oh and in response to c.i.'s comment, I'm going to need more than just a very small teeny tiny space! *L*)
Lyon is also home to one of the world's best restaurants; I forget the name..
Okay, osso, here's supposedly the ten best in Lyon. Which one is it?

That would be correct c.i.
Edited later...
Uh, I assume you meant my comment and not asking for a clue?

Well - 1 out of 2
Yes - it's the Rhine - now - name the city/town!
I was here to see some friends in June 03
This looks similar, doesn't it?
I know GeoCities doesn't allow linking of images, but I was wondering if anyone here could suggest a site (free) where I could upload some of my photos to use for places like this.
Yes - it's Basel already. (sheesh - I live on the other side of the world, and some of us have to work for a living!)
Your pic must have been taken from almost the same spot - although in daylight, rather than sunset.
I knew nothing about it, but some friends moved here, and it's a lovely small city - and the Rhine flows strongly through it. People jump in at one point and let the current carry them downstream about a mile or so. Ferries cross the river, using the flow as a means of propulsion.
