Thinking back to February of 1995, I didn't remember there was another ornate temple in Penang. I remember spending time in Georgetown, the largest city in Penang, but all I can remember after all these years are the 'modern' buildings and business section - and not the temple you posted (and the picture I took). We spent a couple days in Penang, and we also visited a butterfly farm. Penang is the oldest English settlement in Malaysia, and founded by Francis Light. Another famous person, Sun Yat Sen planned the 1911 Canton uprising in Georgetown. With many sandy beaches, warm water, and good food, it's a very attractive tourist destination.
Good thing I posted the picture along with it!
Yes, we went inside the temple.
*wistful sigh* Wish I could go. Sandy beaches and warm waters sound really good right now. (It's -33 degrees celsius outside. Eee!)
I think this might be easy. I just hope it isn't TOO easy.
As with my previous one, please guess the name given to the collective structures and the place where it's located.
Damn! Now I can't see it. Okay, let me get another image. Same place.
caprice, That's four! LOL
Ack! Okay. I found another image. The URL says it all, so no peeking!

I think this one will be easy enough if you've ever seen it.
c.i.: But I don't count! Do I? Er, in terms of guesses! (I don't have THAT bad a self esteem problem! *heh*)
What the heck is your avatar c.i.?
Greenhouses on a roof garden - or similar.

Greenhouses, yes, but not in the usual sense.
Not a roof garden though.
Not in USA.
Not in Australia.
BTW. my avatar is a capsule of the London Eye, the largest Ferris wheel in the world. I was in London last March (one of my many visits), and was for the first time able to 'ride' the Eye. Since it was not tourist season, we had only five people in our capsule which made for a pleasant and easy to take picture ride.

Uh yup!
*getting nervous knowing c.i. is on the trail!*

Cool! It pays to go off season at times.
Thanks for answering. I was worried you'd make me go looking! *L*
