It certainly is Orvieto.
Great town.
Great wine. Est! Est! Est!

The legend goes that an important bishop was to travel through Lazium and Umbria, and sent a messenger to all the posts, so he would taste the local wine. He was to write "Est!" ("it is!")on the door if the wine was good, and "Est! Est!" is the wine was very good. At Orvieto he wrote "Est! Est! Est!"; thus the name of the wine.

Ok, how about an a2k get together in Orvieto? I was there in the rain, pouring rain, for only a day. Liked it even in those conditions.

I guess I'm up.

Back in a minute.

A meeting room for government. Like a parliament or senate -- what would you call that. A government big wig hall?

Orvieto is gorgeous, and I don't think it is a key tourist spot, thus more appealing to me. And.... there is a charming little funicular railway to take you from the train station up to the Duomo square....

Yes, of course to Orvieto. I loved that striped church. I had a lovely day there in the sunshine, Osso. I agree, let's have a gathering there!

Is your picture in Italy?
