All the boys have left us Piffka Wink

Wasn't the Concorde going once, and only once to Seattle?

I don't remember, I thought it came at least once for a Seafair show.

The Museum of Fight (that's the one on Boeing Field) says:

Quote:
World's fastest jetliner retires to The Museum of Flight
British Airways has donated one of its recently retired Concorde supersonic airliners to the Museum. The jet, one of only twenty Concordes ever built, is the only one on display on the West Coast and one of only four outside Europe.

but the picture I posted isn't in Seattle.

!!!!

Omigosh, really!?! Laughing Yep, First Scottish Parliament... that's the RAF Red Arrows, Britain's crack flying team with it.

Sorry to be so inattentive. (These 10-post pages never cease to fool me -- we used to have 50 post pages.) You are so smart, Jane.... the Concorde did only fly once to Seattle. That was when it was donated to the museum -- it never was at Seafair. It was a record flight in just under 4 hours (3 hours 55 min. 12 sec.) in November 2003.

Yes Intrepid, he will be.

If you have a picture to post, please go ahead Wink

Piffka, I remember the flight to Seattle so well, because
of the hoopla the media made about it. I always wanted
to fly the Concorde - but after the tragic accident with
all the Germans business men on it - I changed my mind.

That would be German businessmen, Jane.

I would never point that out, but I'm still stewing about that whole Iberian Penis thing.

No, no gustav, I'm greatful that you do point it out - I'm
always selfconscious of my english Wink

I thought you too - but the Iberian Penis proves me wrong.
You ought to talk to your therapist about that gustav.
