witches, I am witch ingnorant. I was looking at a map at Mondsee and Attersee.
Either of those?

Also, we need clarification... are guesses of places counted as questions or not.... when I reviewed last night, as far as I got they didn't seem to be, but they are recently..

I don't know about the guesses of places being counted. Seems appropriate though since I'm asking for the name of a place. We must ask fealola for the answer.

Mondsee or Attersee?
No, it's really a HELL of a lot closer to Salzburg than that. That's a HINT..............

Salzburg is such a beautiful place to visit. There is a small church by the Glockenspiel Cafe that is from the mid 700s. I just can't get enough of things like that when visiting over there. And dug into the side of the hill below the Castle are alters where the Christians prayed under the noses of the Romans. That was prior to Constantine legalizing Christianity. The South side of the city is fascinating too!!!!!

You should state upfront if you want a city or specific place or whatever. Since you told us the name of the Haus, I guess you can count all the cities since that's what you're looking for.

I stated that wrong. You are looking for a name of a city, therefore all guesses of cities won't be counted as questions. But you would list them as wrong GUESSES.

QUESTIONS that narrow it down should be counted:

i.e :

Is it in Germany?
Is it near Salzburg?
Did someone famous live there.

Guesses of cities are just guesses and there is no limit.

For instance:

If I had a picture of "The White House" I might ask for "Building and City "as the answer.

Empire state Building in New York would be a guess since it includes both buildiing and City.-- But not counted.

Washington DC without naming a building would be a question.
Is it The Supreme Court Building without naming the city would be a question. They would be counted as questions narrowing it down.

Finally -- those two years of high school German came in handy! ("Bright well" was the giveaway.)

I haven't tried this before, so let's see if this works. I'm looking for the name of the building and the city it's located in:

I should have added, for the sake of clarity: the building has no religious significance whatsoever
