Okay, just having been a few minutes away ...

I'm flying to Vienna this Sunday. The building looks very Austo-Hungarian?

Dang Walter, I'm going to have to make my cyber-ventures away from Europe if I'm to make it harder for you to find the answer! Wink

I don't know if it was in a James Bond movie. Something for me to check out!

Here is another link to add to the one c.i. gave...

Hungarian Opera House

And a site with some wonderful pictures of its opulent interior!

Not at all c.i.! It's nice to see those types of personal travel photos. Smile Uhm....just don't expect anything like that from me though! I'll do whatever I can to avoid stepping in front of the camera. Wink

Well, at least the way I looked it up .... was wrong reding
- I thought, it must be in former Austro-Hungaria,
- googled "Bond/films/opera house"
- saw somewhere mentioned Dr. No/Andres/Budapest
- posted that. Embarrassed

We weren't allowed to carry our cameras with us on the bridge hike, but our team leader carried one. I usually like to have 'my' picture taken only at special sites - like this one. Otherwise, I rarely have my picture taken. Wink

Here's an interesting tidbit we learned about the architect that designed the Sydney opera house. He didn't get the chance to see the finished construction for some reason.
