Here are two short poems I've written, no longer than four lines each. The first one is more human, destined, and fatal for lack of a better word. While the second poem is more politically based and will hopefully serve as a message and warning for those engaged or interested in politics.
DESERT LILY
Hot sun beaming on sun-burnt skin,
Hot heart beating like wings from within,
Hot body bleeding, drawing nearer to the end,
Cold soul leaving the woeful world of men.
PARTISAN
Oh beware the partisan spin!
That gruesome tornado of terrible wind,
Where truth escapes and lies begin,
Oh beware the partisan spin.
@Caezius,
these are great! i like them both...
@salima,
Short but very sweet. There does appear more in less for many poems.
@Caezius,
Yes, very good. I thought these texts needed music.They felt like lyrics of a song.
