I hope this is the most appropriate place for my question.

Does anyone know of a simple, easy-to-use method of encryption and decryption that could be used to send e-mail messages that, say, you don't want a child to understand? I'm not talking about official secrets or anything serious, so the level of security doesn't need to be very high at all.

@Oh phil,
I thought numerical relation would be the easiest.Just be a bit random and advance the numbers by one every day.A= 1 B= 3 C = 2..next day A= 2 B= 4 C= 3...

@Oh phil,
Thanks Xris, that would be good enough, then I suppose I need an automatic encryption/decryption method. I guess it would be easy to program, if I was any good at programming, but I'm not.
