You probably could define religion in a way that native Americans, Africans, and others could be set outside the realm of religion. There are definitely many ways to do so, but to me there is a major divide between religious systems and spirituality.

Of course, most everyone sees this major divide...it is clear and obvious, that was the whole reason for my purpose. At any rate, actually...those religions are no different than other religions ties can be found especially in the Native American traditions very strongly to my purpose. I have not yet laid the foundation here for what I am doing...I gave a very vague overview of it so of course premise sounds very....unsettled. In reality, it is not, though it has a lot of work to be done on it.

Thank you all for your input.

I'm not mad at your comment at all, I'm curious however...what credentials that you have, what have you studied? I am a Religion & Philosophy and Psychology double studies (major) student.

I am fairly conversant in those areas that you mention. As i mentioned in my PM to you, we will have to assume that I have absolttely no 'credentials' that might give my words any more weight than anyone else's. Anyone's! What i offer either makes sense or not. Where the seed falls, and when it germinates into nourishment has nothing to do with me.

I in no way would mean to be rude or disrespectful to you despite what you said to me.

I don't think that I was rude or disrespectful either.

The ego given to man was such a vain and defeating concept, man is egocentric and we must defeat and overcome this.

I am well acquainted with this Perspective.
I do not necessarily agree at all, though, that there is anything to 'overcome'.

I will give you my research that I have already conducted if you are curious...to be honest, this has not been approved yet...as I said this was the entire concept...really kind of a massive undertaking if it is to be done. I would in no way...no how twist any one thing from a religion...I have been to different sermons for all kinds of religions. I have actively participated in a number of them as far as they will let me. I respect all religions and do not want to twist their basis.

Thank you for your offer, but I would think that at this stage of the game, your research is in a very 'materials and evidence gathering stage' and far from any conclusions and understandings. Though you seem to begin your recearch on what appears to be a foregone conclusion, trying to support this conclusion with honest research and critical thought will lead you to your own understandings, perhaps totally unexpected ones.

I see where your anger stemmed from, and thank you that was also a valuable insight to how others may react, I expected a response like yours long before and was surprised I did not receive it. Humbling as it may be thank you for it.

No anger, just a bit of dramatic passion. Showmanship and emphasis (hyperbole) in making a point. Why would I possibly be angry at anything that you might say? This is all played on the stages of our mind, wherein we are actors. Enjoy the roles.

The basis, is in a form of truth, I phrased this badly…and actually you picked out my my original post what I have previously corrected. We have discussed this already in the thread base, it may benefit you to go back and read it, (again not trying to demean you if it sounded that way.) Afterwards if you have any input I would be glad to hear it and thankfully take it in and listen.

I'll go back and take a peek.

Thank you, please be respectful as well. I do not take offense to anything any one person may say as I said before, however some do not hold my same ideals and so I simply bid you please be respectful to others.

I'm sorry, I have a higher 'calling' than 'niceness' and 'respectful courtesy' and worrying about everyone's delicate feelings, I speak honestly, from the heart and mind to the heart and mind. On that you can count. I'll not blow smoke up your skirt and call it Truth! Sometimes the 'rawness' of this honesty 'bruises' the ego a bit, but, true blessings are always painful. Always. And one comes from the other end a bit stronger, a bit wiser, a bit more understanding, a slightly 'wider' Perspective. There are always 'growing pains'.
That being said, i never, NEVER (have) deliberate intent to cause harm, pain. Sometimes, the medicine is bitter...
Pain is not the enemy! Comfort a poor goal.
Peace

The language that you used was unnecessary though, why I'm giving short replies now is it appears you will not regard others as having any worth. If you want the brutal honest truth as you say you are conveying onto me...then I will tell you my opinion since it seems you are searching for it. You are rude and yes despite what you believe to most people that does matter, you are ignorant, you are egocentric, and worst you are blinded in your own anger. I don't say this to be mean...I say it from what I have seen in your replies to me and others, I presume...you should step and take a look at life. You told me you were searching...that is great and I hope you find that what you need resides outside of the egocage that most are trapped in.
