@William,
Yes! The way I look at it, we just got here. Ha. As my signature suggests, once we believe in our eternal nature (for it is the only thing that makes a lick of sense), though we will never fully understand it in it's entirety, then we will see the necessity of communicaton and cooperation to ensure we do all we can to see that tomorrow is better than today. Once we begin to understand that and "believe" it, it will change how you think immensely. Well, it did me any way. Wow! Did it ever.

@William,
Smile yes i think i can see what you mean.

For me the dropping of a grand narrative has done something too. What i personally prefer about a spiritual pantheism (without one ruling god or goddess), a spiritual multitude in all of nature, as well as other narratives like science and love, is that the oneness would be greater than any one way of trying to understand for any being..... and even as mere humans that truth is open to us. It deeply connects all of us who see it that way, in a multitude of ways.

Very nice chattin william. It has clarified some of my thoughts.

We can't deny our unique, relative perceptions in that no two people are alike. That's a given. It's when we use those in a effort to compete we get into trouble and manipulate and commplicate language to defend that uniqueness when it shouldn't be under attack. That's were divine communication comes into play allowing us to establish a common ground in which both can benefit.

I'm having a hard time unraveling what you are saying here. Competition is not a good thing?

I'm still a little unclear about what is meant by Divine Communication as well.

@William,
TTM, I first became aware of what "divine communication" is in Scott Adamses "God's Debris". Though I do not agree with everything he professed, this rang loud and clear as a bell. Please read that first, if you don't mind. Here. It doesn't take long. Smile

Thanks,

Thanks Pagan. Prior to my reading it, I had already begin noticing the pieces of the "debris" and their relationship to each other such as what I have alluded to as coincidence. Those are not coincidences, just god communicating with his various parts. Such as Scott allude to in allowing other people to talk about themselves and being considerate of their perceptions that will eventually lead to a common ground between the two leading to "divine communicaton" that will allow both to trust and reach what I call the "hybrid" effect in which the unity is better than the sum of it parts. Such as can be illustated by the saying "two heads are better than one". As far a the chapter on "RELATIONSHIPS" in which he talks about women, I am reservedly not sure about. Ha. As I often joke about god's commenting after he created woman, "This is going to be interesting". Ha. :bigsmile:

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I certainly did. It kinda reminded me of the story of "Humpty Dumpty" in that the control of heirarchy (all the kings men) would never understand how to put all the parts together. Hmmm?

@William,
yes :bigsmile:

or as i prefer to say the same thing ..... "two powerful narratives are better than one". And of course the spirit in which i liked the men women thing.

But the anger that such a view can inspire!
