It's hardly my fault that it's stagnating. You guys aren't guessing movie titles. Theoretically, I should provide periodic new clues
if people are guessing and failing, but no one is even venturing guesses.
Alright, let's review. The line is:
"They heated the water for my bath too early. It was positively tepid."
I said that it was an historical romance that was remade later, and that it was not based on reality. I will add that although the date of the story is unspecified, it appears to be the early 1800s.
