"Take the blue pill, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. Take the red pill, stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes."

Hello Lucien,

I believe the idea of this thread is that you first guess a quote and, after the original poster confirms, you post one yourself. So basically it is Lightwizard's turn.

Oh and according to Mr. Google the above is a quote from Morpheus in the Matrix.

Go ahead -- I got lost and forgot about it. Mr. Google makes this thread too predictable.

OK, what about this one. I tried to google it to make sure it is not too easy:
"You remeber lesson number five"
"Five! He got that far, did he?"

I am pretty sure that was what they said, but I cannot be 100% sure, as I do not have a transcript.

Hint: The quote was uttered during a sword fight between two friends, one of which also played a role in "The Green Mile"

Val Kilmer played a cameo in the film (He was the one who got to number five)

Nope, the role of Madmartigan was not a cameo performance.

Close enough! Gorgeous and the Dragon. Very Happy

This is not a matter of winning or losing. I think this quote proves that when we chose less obvious ones (that are not googlable), the game becomes suddenly a lot more difficult.
Your turn.

Please show me where I can find details regarding this film. For all I know,it could be a "porn film".From the title,it certainly sounds like it.

My mate next door makes short films which,as yet, have never been shown on the "big screen".What's the point of me quoting from his films when only a handfull of friends have seen/appeared in them.

For a "quiz",there must be a record of the answer in the popular public domain surley !

"and don't call me Shirley"

If anyone wants a more laid back and friendly movie quiz, join me and a few mates HERE

Bless you,of course you are correct. If the powers that be on this thread let you continue, then fine.I can forsee a certain forumite ( Brandon9000 ) moaning that "we are not abiding by the rules".He "scared" me off and a few others, weeks ago.Even the VERY knowlegable Lightwizard loses this thread for weeks. To have a livley thread you've gotta have people poping in frequently. If you wanna have a propper movie quiz with a "friendly atmosphere",join me and my mates on the link above Cool

It was a joke, dear Barry. LeftCoastBum wrote "gorge and the dragon". I assumed he was playing on the title and so did I. Very Happy The film is George and the Dragon, a very innocent mainstream film, from which you can find quotes online, but not the one I listed. After all this is supposed to be a film quiz, not a test of your Google skills.
