This is an interesting social network one of my friends told me about. It serves as a way to input read books, review books, receive recommendation, search for titles, and participate in discussion about books. Shelfari also has pages for all books which the community can modify and add to the information compiled on various titles much like a wiki.

@Theaetetus,
Shelfari is basically a book wiki database with a social network attached to it. It acts as your virtual library allowing you to see recommended books based on read books, review books, participate in discussions about books, and add content to the book wiki pages.
