SP I have done the math, I thought the point of this forum was a little bit of light entertainment, how stupid can I get?

Sealpoet, since your powers of deduction are so much better than the rest of us, we really need your help, Sweetypete posted a thread titled "save my sanity" would you kindly answer and put the rest of us out of our misery? Be fair, we cant help being thick.

Okay... Frank caught me on a BAD day earlier this week. I busted his aggies for it. Then I apologized, so I'll apologise here as well. sorry Kev.

Now, I saw sweetiepete's post once, but didn't have either the time or lucidity or both to solve it...

But this one...

Step 1) n
Step 2) 2*n
Step 3) 2*n + 5
Step 4) (2*n + 5)*50 = 100*n + 250
Step 5) 100*n + 250 + 1753 = 100*n + 2003
Step 6) 100*n + 2003 - birthyear

2003 is this year. 2003 - birthyear is your age. 100*n puts n in the third place.
