please help me identify a coin

I have a number of coins that date from 1571. They are @ just short on an inch in size. A shield crest is displayed on one side with the words DEVAD IVTORE MMIV and on the reverse REGINA and other words that I can't make out due to wear. The coins are a deep silver in colour. I have tried various ways over the net of |ID'ing the coin but with no success.
I would be grateful if some one could point me in the right direction. Thank you. Very Happy

Looks like it's a shilling.

I searched on google with COIN and IVTORE...

Here are the search results:

Always interesting to have a hunt about for some strange coin you've found, and you just never know what kind of treasure it is. That you enjoy reading the history of it alone is a great thing.

As with any coinage, it all depends on the quality of your piece to see if it is of any value. Please also note, you will keep the value up by not cleaning it and by handling it with gloves.

Found this coin era in a few places and you can see the difference in visual clarity of the strike thats left after all these years:

this list has an image attached, looks like it still has very good detail you'll se this sold for 175.00

Still, you just never know...enjoy it whatever joy it brings you!
