"Oh really? What makes you sure it was the truth?"
"I don't know. I could just tell. They were carrying it away on a truck, with a canvas tarp over it; I saw it just for a moment, before a soldier covered it back up."
"Who is 'they'?"
"You know who 'they' are. The collective 'they'."
"What color was it?"
"I saw it only for a moment!"
"Look, the truth is stored away securely in a vault, so nobody wrecks it or steals it. It's for the good of all of us that it's kept there."
"Well I saw it being taken away!"
"No you didn't! Have you ever seen the truth before? NO!"
"It was there when I was born. I can vaguely remember it."
"Gawd! I won't even go into all the reasons that's wrong! Anyway, what do you want for lunch?"
"I don't know."
