I have several fountain pens. When I buy a new pen, I notice, after a few days, that the best pen was the one that I had used the last time before the purchase of the new pen.
Oh dear, Satt, you are setting yourself up for dissatisfaction, unhappiness and depression. I have a husband with the same temperament. He's in psychiatric hospital at the moment because he can't believe that today and tomorrow are more exciting and potentially fun than yesterday. Yesterday has become a golden age during which pens, life, and other trivia were the best ever.
Are you a Pisces by any chance?
Clary..
I am not depressed. When I buy a next new pen, the current new pen will be the best.
(I am a Virgo.)
Well, be warned...
Virgos are frugal and shrewd with financial matters, your pen-hoarding figures.
The pen I am using RIGHT NOW is wonderful. My NEXT new pen is the best.
Well, I love giving a gift, and if you received a gift of fountain pen from me, I can assure it was the best one, from my point of view.
(Clary, I was amazed, you are very keen about horoscope. It has been my impression that the Pisces seem to go well with my Virgo.)
"Dad always believed laughter was the best medicine, I guess that's why so many of us died of tuberculosis." - Robert Smigel
Ah, I asked if you were Pisces, Satt, because they tend to look backwards rather than forwards. I am a forward-looking Sagittarian but I have had some beautiful relationships with Virgos
We also love free gifts!
Scorpio here ................
How does a Scorpio see happiness?
I actually think there would be differences in how different signs see it - for a Sag, an open road, travelling light, but with enough money in the pocket for a good meal with wine is one of the happiest scenarios.
satt is and always has been clearly a Virgo. Pisces indeed...I would know, I'm a Virgo too, and I'm not stingy, I just have no money.
Now, is Clary up for a road trip and a bottle of wine? I'm wanted by the law and could use a vacation. You did say you have had some beautiful relationships with Virgos....
Oh, and happiness is a warm puppy. -Charles Schultz
