This message tickled me so much that I had to pass it on:
When radio host Rush Limbaugh blamed the Sierra Club for the devastating BP oil spill and suggested that we "pick up the tab" for the cleanup, people definitely responded -- with donations. Over $50,000 so far!
That's great -- but since when did Rush Limbaugh settle for merely great? Wouldn't he want to be the Sierra Club's greatest fundraiser?
YOU can help make Rush our top fundraiser. Donate $10 to the Sierra Club in Rush's name today, and we'll send him a special note of thanks for helping to support our efforts to promote clean-energy solutions and put an end to offshore drilling.
What better way to show Rush how much we appreciate his fundraising efforts on behalf of Sierra Club and its plan to get America off oil and onto clean energy than by making sure we accomplish those goals RIGHT NOW - and with your support, we can do it.
Together we can show Rush that we heard him loud and clear. Make a donation of $10 or more today, then forward this email along and share it with your friends on Facebook and Twitter.
Interesting idea, I wonder if there is a Canadian equivalent to all this.
