You're going to the dollar tree, and you scramble for some loose change. You manage to get a dollar's worth in change, with 50 coins. When you are walking into the store, you almost get hit by a car, and you drop one coin, which rolls into the gutter. What are the odds that you dropped a quarter?

I'm going to go with a 1 in 100 chance.
Because you can't have more than 1 quarter and still hit 50 coins on the head. You can have 1 quarter (along with 2 dimes, 2 nickels and 45 pennies) which would leave you a 1 in 50 chance… or you could have no quarters (with 2 dimes, 8 nickels and 40 pennies) which cuts your odds in half.
