He was born 1835 and must have made an important contribution to science. Even Links and Resources would be appreciated to help locate a bit of information!

According to the web sites I found about him, it looks like he's an entrepreneur selling/treating natural supplement stuff to people who fart and belch a lot.

And since from the original post here we know he was born in 1835, stands to reason his natural supplements really work

Here's a write-up about an Albert Snow from that era... doesn't mention anything about him being a scientist though. He and his wife pioneered a hotel in Yosemite called La Casa Nevada.
