I need an answer to this riddle
If Bill were twice as tall as he is today, he would be 10" taller than Tom. In fact Tom is 15" taller than Bill. How tall is each person?

Bill's current height is X. Tom's is Y.
2X = 10 + Y
Y = 15 + X
2X + Y = 25 + Y + X
2X = 25 + X
X = 25
Therefore Y = 40
These are short guys. Bill is 25" tall; Tom is 40" tall.
