I have a 3 year old neutered English bulldog. There are occasions when he gets an erection and air humps. He will stand there looking like at me like he is doesn't even understand what is going on. This will last for 2 to 5 minutes. He also like to hump my other bulldog if he can get the chance, usually while he is having a bowel movement and can't react right away. What's going on? Anything that can be done?

Even some bitches like to hump sometimes. I wouldn't worry about it. It's perfectly natural behavior.
Maybe he's looking at you wondering why you are looking at him with that look on your face.
