This is the old gry riddle. For those of you who don't know it here it is: I like the ending gry. some words that end with it are hungry and angry. There are 3 words in the english language. What is the third word. Hint: It is something we use everyday. good luck, unless you already knew the answer, then don't say anything.
If we don't say anything, how will you know that we actually know the answer to the riddle? And how will we know that you know that we know the answer? What if I think I know the answer, but I don't really? How will you know that, unless I say it? And if it is the wrong answer, how will I know it's wrong if I can't say it because I already 'know' the answer, even tho the facts are incorrect?
Oww! Where's my excedrine???
mmmm the third word has eight letters.
You stated the riddle incorrectly -- and there is no answer to it the way you have it.
Sorry, I spoke too soon. I've re-read your version of the puzzle -- and realize your did state it correctly.
Language.
what i meant by "you already know it" is you heard the riddle before, and looked up the answer. understand?
oh yeah i fergot ta say, k8 you wrong.
Actually, I knew what you meant. That was just me being silly.
Does anyone here NOT know what the answer is?
Iain
good point, but still, there's gotta be some1 who hasn't heard the riddle b4
Hmm.. if my last guess is wrong (ie 8 letters, last one is an "e"), then I don't know the answer.
it's language, ask your parents, "language" is the answer or it is the original answer. so if that's not YOUR answer then what is?
language is the answer, i guess i misunderstood you when you said the last letter is "e"
I've always hated that one, and now I know why... some riddles aren't meant to be written down. Punctuation makes them impossible to solve when viewed (or removes the riddle). "There are only three words in 'the English language,' what's the third one?" is a very crummy riddle.
