I am trying to convert a wav file into a mp3 file so I can email it to somebody.
Does anybody know how or where I can go to do this?

I found one and tried it and it said it converted it but I can't find the mp3 file?

audacity is free. google it. I think windows media player will convert wav to mp3, tho I haven't ried doing it. assuming you use windows, check it out.

You can use online versions. I use several all the time in my transcription/captioning jobs when people send me files in formats other than mp3. All you do is define the format you have and what you want it converted to, the program then uploads your file and a few minutes later you get a link for downloading the converted file.

it is so easy ,there so many professional converter can do it ,iam using aunsoft iMedia Converter for Mac which is a perfect combination of a Mac Blu-ray Ripper and a Mac Video Converter,and it work well,if you are a mac user ,i recommend you using it, and you can goole it .
