French reporter queries Ted Nugent on deer hunting...

Tue 2 Mar, 2010 06:22 am
Ted Nugent, rock star and avid bow hunter from Michigan , was being
interviewed by a French journalist and animal rights activist. The
discussion came around to deer hunting.

The journalist asked,

Quote:
"What do you think is the last thought in the head of
a deer before you shoot him? Is it, 'Are you my friend?' or is it 'Are you
the one who killed my brother?'"

Nugent replied,

Quote:
"Deer aren't capable of that kind of thinking. All they care
about is, 'What am I going to eat next, who am I going to screw next, and
can I run fast enough to get away. They are very much like the French."

The interview ended at that point.

That the French reporter asked stupid questions is not evidence that Nugent is not a stupid man himself.

@Setanta,
Yeah, it wasn't the best question, come to think of it. Smile

@Setanta,
that's the the great thing about ted, he's got his words and back catalog of horrible music to help establish the fact

Funny story... the reporter apparently thought she had somebody she could **** with and had her education upgraded.

@djjd62,
Yes, Ted comes out forthrightly for witless devotion to annoying noise--whether on stage or in an interview.

@Setanta,

I'd suggest that it's almost always a slow news day at Gunga's house.

Well, of course ... this "interview" is posted on various gun-nuts-blogs since (at least) Wednesday, June 20, 2007.

Does someone have the name of the reporter or of the paper?

Just out of curiosity, how do you conclude that the interview is posted mainly on gun nut blogs and not on gun enthusiast blogs? How do you know it's mainly quoted by "nuts?"

Oh well, it was really an interview, with the British Independent on Sunday in May 2006, conducted by the English journalist Robert Chalmers.

@Brandon9000,
Okay. I stand corrected: it's mainly posted by gun-and-France-loving enthusiasts.

Sounds like maybe you think that anyone who believes in the right to own guns is automatically a nut.

Could it be that you've some problems with your ears?

Okay, what's relevant in that article to anything I said or asked?

@Brandon9000,
Don't know.

I was just referring to the original article of 2006, done by an English journalist in an English paper.

The only 'French' is in one of Nugent's responses.
