Not today Beth. I had water. There was cheese and fruit though. I really didn't learn a thing. I think this gal was new. She had to read her flip chart. Truly I was just trying to help a friend fill the seats.

I was never so happy to wash my face. My eyes were scary.

do you ladies have hair parties as well?

Yeah, I used to occasionally agree to go so someone could meet their quota. I got some nice free brushes once.

They weren't as bad as some of the tupperware parties I went to in the 1980's. We once got a saleslady who wouldn't sell us large bowls since we were single women. We finally convinced her that we were going to use them to soak our feet

I useta cut hair back in university. I got paid in whiskey or the loan of a squash racquet. I got pretty good with the skizzers.

I used to have a friend cut my hair, but her husband started getting real weird about it.

now I trim my own. and not very often...

gotta go get some more water before smoky goes to bed. and tell him I have my own wheels tomorrow.

That's crazy. Though the large tupperware bowls are good for that.

People's is so odd.

Never had a hair party Rock. Though I do cut my own hair. I bend over and brush it all out and cut straight across. Cut about an inch and a half off the other day. Believe it or not, it's pretty straight.

I cut my boys hair too. The professor doesn't let me cut his. I'm much too inconsistent. Probably depends on whether I have been tippling.

some clown decided today was the day to bring all the industrial tree shredding equipment to the empty lot next to us.

and they fired it up and got started at 8:01 am. I bet their boss is proud of them...

but not enough to cover the phone yet. decent weather is s'posed to hold til wednesday, then the bottom drops out...

and the trees they dropped bright and flippin early this morning were hedge. got permission to haul them over here and dry them out for next year. a pretty nice haul, and verra close to the homestead for hauling purposes. 1 big tree and two little ones. they were too close to the power lines...

gonna put a potato in the oven and go light the shop stove. bubba will be pleased.

There ya go, wasting valuable energy agin, pouring CO2 into the 'mosphere. Gol dern tree butchers!
