home-built from an old schwinn. it has an old comfy motorcycle seat.

@Rockhead,
single speed, huh? Are you in an area where ya can watch your dog run away for three days or is it hilly around you?

Hey Rockhead,

A couple months back you mentioned you had some cannas that were blooming. I was wondering if you leave them in the ground over winter or dig them up and replant them in the Spring?

I think we're in about the same climate zone (7). What I've been reading about cannas in Albuquerque tells me I should dig them up and store them in the garage for the winter.

If you don't dig yours up, did they receive any freeze damage from last year's freezing temperatures?

This is the first season for mine and with the warm temps we've had in the last couple days, they're trying to go through a bloom cycle again.

@Butrflynet,
Gotta dig em up and dry them out. then do it again next year.

almost all of mine split and multiplied.

I will store them over to mr vw's. he has a root room...

(thanks bethie. mum's the word...)
